I'm the author, Frances S. Fuchs. Over the last 30 years I've written articles and book chapters on lesbian relationships, lesbian widowhood, bi-sexuality and spirituality. I'm the granddaughter of Carl R. Rogers and I follow the family tradition of humanistic pioneering; promoting positive regard, authenticity and congruence—while championing the right of women to choose their own relationship path. I have a doctorate in counseling psychology, am a Minister of The Association for the Integration of the Whole Person, and I've maintained a private counseling practice since 1983. A Senior Associate at the Couples Center Educational Institute in Santa Rosa, California, I lecture and give workshops throughout the state. I'm also an avid gardener, a mixed-media artist, and an amateur tinkerer and fix-it woman. I live in Northern California with my partner, Den and I most enjoy taking time out to sit on a riverbank and listen to the rippling water.
